Paper of KAGRA project has been selected as one of the 2019-2020 Highlights of Classical and Quantum Gravity

The paper of KAGRA project entitled “First cryogenic test operation of underground km-scale gravitational-wave observatory KAGRA” has been selected one of the 2019-2020 Highlights of Classical and Quantum Gravity (IF03.071) that is a journal of Institute of Physics (IOP).

Professor Hirotaka Takahashi at Center for Space Science in Advanced Research Laboratories is one of the members of KAGRA project. His group, Gravitational Wave Physics and Astronomy/Data Science Group, is expected to contribute to the gravitational wave research and multimessenger astronomy as the KAGRA member by using information technology, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, advance signal processing technique etc..

 

MOU between Institute for Cosmic Ray Research (ICRR), The University of Tokyo and Tokyo City University was established and signed on October 27th, 2020.

Professor Hirotaka Takahashi would like to collaborate with ICRR more deeply and develop this group as one of the KAGRA data analysis bases.
