Research on COVID-19 spreading infection simulation has been selected as research award

Research on COVID-19 spreading infection simulation, by Prof. Hirotaka Takahashi at Center for Space Science in Advanced Research Laboratories and Nihon University group led by Assistant Prof. Yuto Omae, has been selected as one of the research awards of SIG-AI in Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE).

This conference paper shows one of the results of our COVID-19 spreading infection simulation. We discussed the effectiveness of strategies of cancelling the stay-at-home orders on the number of infectors and outgoing people by using multi-agent simulation.

In our series of research on COVID-19 spreading infection simulation, we also shared the results and data to related parties. We would like to continue our research, share the results and data as the materials for consideration to make better decisions.
