Prof. Takahashi gave a public talk at “Machinaka Campus Nagaoka, Niigata”

Prof. Hirotaka Takahashi, who is a member of Center for Space Science and Data Driven Design Research Unit of Institute for Future City Studies, in Advanced Research Laboratories, gave a public talk at “Machinaka Campus Nagaoka, Niigata” on October 16, 2021.

 

Prof. Takahashi’s lecture started from the topic of the first detection of gravitational wave from black hole binaries by LIGO. He also talked the dawn of the gravitational wave physics and astronomy. The black hole image observed by event horizon telescope was also introduced.

 

Prof. Takahashi participated remotely. But even after the public talk was finished, he answered questions from the audience at the venue about the research of the universe and talked with the audience, friendly and eagerly.
