How has our universe evolved? How have planets formed? To answer these questions, we use space-borne telescopes to perform astrophysical observations from space, free from the effects of Earth's atmosphere.
To address the question of 'How was our universe evolved?,' we plan to launch the ultra-small astronomical observation satellite VERTECS in 2025 to observe cosmic background radiation in visible light.
To answer the question of 'How have planets formed?', we are now deploping a dedicated spectrometer to detect the snow line (believed to be the boundary that separates solid planets and gas planets) in the proto protoplanetary disks. We will start test observations from the ground with the final goal of observations from space.
